Note: Sales Tax is charged for the following states: California 8.25% and Ohio 6.75%
Before you go down the list, let's get a better understanding about shipping. Dalton Retail adds no extra money for shipping, if we break even that's great.
What is involved in the Shipping process?
- Customer purchases product
- Order is than processed and sent to shipping
- Shipping Department pulls order, prepares order for UPS shipment (order needs shipping container, packing and shipping label)
- UPS picks up Shipments.
Shipping:
- Shipping calculations are performed in real time based on items ordered.
- During checkout the shipping total will be displayed prior to payment.
- Shipping will be revised each time you change your cart contents.
- Items will be shipped within 1-3 business days of placing your order.
- You will receive an email confirming your order upon checkout
- You will emailed when the items are shipped with all shipping information.

Shipping costs are based on the total of your order. Each order has a minimum shipping charge of $7.95.
New rates effective January 1st, 2008: All products are shipped UPS at the present but we are in process of making USPS available. We run a table rate for shipping costs and they are as follows:
Orders: $1 - $75 = $7.95, $76 - $100 = $11.95, $101 - $125 = $14.95, $126 - $150 = $17.95, $151 - $175 = $20.95, $176 - $200 = $23.95, Over $200 = 12% of Sales Total

How Long does shipping take?
- UPS ground please allow 7-10 business days
- US Postal please allow 7-10 business days - PO Boxes Only
- DHL RUSH please allow up to 2-4 business days - No PO Boxes
- AirMail please allow 7-14 business days
- Orders are usually shipped from our warehouse within 1-3 business days. The above times are estimates from the day your order is shipped.
All shipments insured?
- Yes, insurance is included in the cost of our shipping rates.
Do you ship internationally?
- No, we only ship within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands and Military APO/FPO addresses.
How do I get a tracking number for my order?
- Your tracking number will be automatically emailed to you once your order has shipped.
- Please note that tracking numbers are only available for UPS ground orders and DHL Rush orders but not US Postal orders. For this reason, we recommend shipping to a physical street address (and not a PO Box) whenever possible. UPS Ground also does not ship to Alaska or Hawaii - those orders go via AirMail and will not have a tracking number. If it's been 3 business days and you still don't have a tracking number, please contact us.
- One other note: by default we ship orders going to a physical address within the Continental United States via UPS Ground. However, if you have a very small order that weighs less than 1 pound, your order may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The nice thing about Priority Mail is that your customer will get it much faster than they would through UPS Ground (usually around 3-5 business days rather than 7-10). However, the tracking number will not appear in your Purchase History or be emailed to you. Please simply contact us and we will send you the USPS Confirmation number, which you can use to track the package at www.usps.com
What is "May Require Additional Freight Charge?"
- You may notice that some large or heavy items say "May Require Additional Freight Charge" in the item description. These items are oversized or heavy and cost us more to ship.
